  • Methods: molecular biology techniques (DNA & RNA extraction and clean-up, gel chromatography, PCR/qPCR, DNA cloning and sequencing, denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis), sequence data analysis, light microscopy, general microbiological techniques.

Research interests

  • Phylogenetic diversity of aquatic and soil bacteria, microbial ecology, biophysics of aquatic ecosystems, biopolymers degradation
